The Crew

Our staff is made up a collection of artists. Every member is a competent craftsman bringing their specific specialties and areas of interest as additions to the common skill sets of the trade. Having various academic backgrounds gives our shop a diverse concept of design. Relying on the talents we've developed through our own studio art we all feel comfortable exploring new ideas while being able to notice commonly overlooked design flaws. Being that everyone of us here at Marc Williams Goldsmith has some sort of past (or present) in the academic art arena we are fully capable to understand the desires of our customers while achieving the proper balance and structure you can only learn through studying art. Creating and exhibiting our own work outside of these walls truly helps us achieve a heightened commitment to detail in the product you know and love. Our current staff is a multi talented array of artists with solo exhibitions on the records, arts awards, photography, painting, singing and architectural engineering. We have a lot to rely on and almost every angle covered. Rest assured in our well rounded and well trained hands

Marc Williams

I have now been in business for over 30 years. I am proud to say that in that time besides having the privilege to create pieces of art for our customers we have also been honored to served as craft jurors, teachers, and mentors. We have won numerous show awards and have been featured in dozens of trade and cultural publications such as American Style and Juxtapoz magazines. The public has graciously supported our work and it has been a thrill to see it worn at events such as the Country Music Awards and the Americas Cup. With multiple nominations to be proud of, one of our highest honors has been being awarded a NICHE magazine Top 100 Retailer.

The previously noted achievements are attributed to a lifelong exposure to art in many forms. It became innate to see the beauty of quality and precision. My mother was an illustrator whose practice showed me how to lay out a design concept and see it emerge into a finished artwork. Working with my father on classic European motorcycles from the 50s and 60s taught me the intricacies of proper mechanics. Through high school and while attending classes at Philadelphia College of Art I recognized that I had a basic sense for design that followed me from childhood. I didn’t know it at the time, but what my parents exposed me to was a perfect blend of two- and three-dimensional design which is the foundation of my work.
